Bordeaux Digital PrintInk Is Expanding to New Inkjet Technologies

March 29, 2012

Bordeaux is looking ahead for Drupa 2012 in Dusseldorf. Bordeaux considers Drupa as an opportunity to demonstrate not only its current products and solutions for the graphics arts digital printing market but also to introduce its unique Research and Development capabilities for a wider range of inkjet technologies & applications such as packaging, textile and electronics.

Bordeaux is an independent inkjet ink and fluids developer and manufacturer whose developments are solely based on its in-house Research & Development team. The company is responsible for high standard products based on extensive know-how in the field of inkjet. The company’s achievement in the field has gained the cooperation of OEMs in joint venture projects benefiting from the continued deployment of the company’s exceptional expertise.

During Drupa, Bordeaux will demonstrate its wide-spread commercial products and among them the company’s latest UV LED inks with substantial elongation properties.  The UV LED ink with improved properties will further complement the Bordeaux UV and UV LED product lines suitable now for a wider variety of printers and especially suitable for a wider variety of UV applications that is expanding continuously.

Bordeaux will also emphasize its ability to provide total solutions for printers by exhibiting its new line of laminates based on water for the wide format digital printing market and UV based laminates for more diverse applications such as document finishing and pre-press applications. Both coatings are intended to increase the prints durability to abrasion and prevent fading and are manufactured in the company’s new production facility in the USA East Coast.

“We will reveal new products at Drupa for emerging technologies for the wide-format inkjet market, including inks formulated for the latest ink technologies and solutions to help printers grow their business” says Moshe Zach, CEO of Bordeaux. “The new solutions launched at Drupa are part of Bordeaux’s “For Better Printing” slogan reflecting the company’s intention to deliver products and services that help printing companies achieve new business benefits reflected in better precision, value, performance, variety and environmental concerns.”
