Continued Integration of EDLX Bordeaux’s Latex Ink to New Printers

November 20, 2012

Since successfully launching its Latex ink concept at Drupa 2012, Bordeaux has continued research and development of this revolutionary ink for a larger range of printers to ensure superior print results for a wide spectrum of applications from durable outdoor signage to odorless indoor applications.

Bordeaux’s Latex ink is now compatible with Eco solvent but also Mild solvent ink printers such as all of Mutoh’s Spitfire and Blizzard printers, Mimaki JV 3 /33 /5 and also many of the Eco solvent printers including Roland.

The improved formulation provides dramatically faster throughput speed, extremely high quality and reliability performance on a very wide range of substrates, as well as excellent abrasion and scratch resistance on a very broad C, M, Y, K color gamut.

Bordeaux latex ink brings together the outdoor durability and untreated media flexibility associated with low/eco-solvent inks with the odorless prints, low maintenance and environmentally friendly advantages of water-based inks. This revolutionary ink is used for high performance printing – without requiring any kind of pre-engineering or special changes in existing printers (In most configurations, an add-on dryer is required for faster printing speed).
