New Names & Packaging, Same Products
Bordeaux inks and coatings recently received new names and packaging making it easier for our customers to identify different ink types. The product formulations remain the same.
For your convenience, scroll down to see a Product Name Guide to help you with the transition to the new product names. Print it and keep it close by so you can easily access the new names.
New packaging – To create greater uniformity and standardization across product lines, Bordeaux’s product packaging changed as follows:
Latex-based & Dye Sub inks in blue bottles
UV & UV LED inks in orange bottles
Solvent inks in purple bottles
Liquid laminates, coatings and adhesion promoters in white bottles
New Names – New product names consist of a family name and the last 2 letters of the old name, for an easy transition, eg. FUZE NR™ will replace PENR™, EDEN LX™ will replace EDLX™ and so on – see attached list. Please note there is no change in the products themselves.
Timing – This is a rolling transition throughout the second half of 2013. For certain products, we will continue to supply both new and previous packaging for a short period until we use up all of our old bottles. The new product names will be in use starting August 2013.
